I'm hopefully going to be in training by august/september this year after my gcses, was just wondering if there are many other 16 year olds on this forum planning to join this year after finishing school
Hi good luck with your GCSEs I would check the criteria for joining I think you have to be 17 to join but I'm sure I will be corrected if I wrong. Definitely have a look around the forum it is is great source of information especially for training tips etc
Cheers and yeh you can start basic training at 16 you dont have to be 17, at the moment I'm just waiting to hear back about a date for my prmc

I’m 17 mate, 18 in June, had my first prmc 27th of Feb and unfortunately failed the vo2 max test by one bleep. Got my next date on the 5th of June so looking forward to that and ready to smash it. I’m currently at 43 Commando just now on a visit and I’m enjoying it so far!
