hi is was wondering do the RM get to use lasersight a lot, just it gives away your position but looks boss.

any takers?

no dont think they do, they sometimes use a torch but the sights that they use are SUSATS which are mounted on a rail where the iron sights used to be.. Im not to sure ninja will know though i think

I'm guessing (bearing in mind I'm a matelot, not a Royal), but probably snipers use laser sights- I'll ask our "in house" experts tomorrow, assuming no-one has given a definitive answer beforehand.

Apparently it's not usually the sniper, but your average Commando may well expect to have a Laser Light Module (LLM) on his SA80.

(Hmmn, where would we be without TLA's ?)

This is the one the Brits use, it's the HK LLM (Laser Light Moudule), it's a light and laser combined, supposed to be pretty good

yeh, the one we seen are infared so can only be seen with night vision, pretty niffty. We got to play round with it so to speak.
