Please see the latest PRMC kitlist.

For those that have undertaken a PRMC before May 2016, be aware there are a few changes.

The 'foiled laundry bag' refers to a polythene-lined bag for wet/damp laundry.

For the laundry bag will one of those blue ikea bags do that are made of tarpaulin material?

I guess, but it's probably worth having a drawstring on it to keep the oggin within.

@Ninja_Stoker might be a bit of an odd question but can the formal shoes be brown/tan

Quick question. It says 2 towels and other things like gym wear. Can I bring 3? I lost a pair or swim shorts on my 1st prmc and a towel went missing from the Dry room on the second. I'd feel more at ease having a spare/backup incase the worst happened.

@Ninja_Stoker going to get a decent new suit, but was wondering whether it will get knackered or worn during the prmc or early parts of recruit training?

Only if you forget your phys kit.

I've seen the odd one or more press-ups conducted whilst suited for "not doing as yer telt" but nothing much more than that, certainly not seen anyone wearing one on the endurance course.

@TwoElls Would make sure everything is marked with your name. In the early weeks of RT some individuals admin may not be up to speed and it is not unknown for some to 'borrow' when they get desperate. Think primary school and you will be ok, dont tie your gloves together with string though!

Seeing approx 40 guys being made to do press ups in suit and ties was absolutely hilarious

As far the 45 litre rucksack, does it have to be a specific type?, as the ones I've seen are around £60-£80 which seems exspensive if there only for transport of boots

I would hazard a guess that it means bring your stuff in a bag big enough (with enough spare room) that you can fit a pair of boots in too, should you pass.

Odd question, but I'm bald as an egg, do I still need to bring a comb?
