Legs getting sore

I've been stepping up my running recently since my PRMC is very soon but in the last week I've been having some problems.

It started after my Acquaint Day. I did well there, no leg problems during the 3 miler or the bleep test, and I gave myself plenty of time to recover from that as I had a lot of muscle ache for the next couple of days.

Even with a long warm-up now though after 10 or so minutes of running my thighs get very stiff and it's very difficult to keep going. It takes quite a long time for me to recover and during this time I find it hard to even break into a jog.

Does anyone know if these are the symptoms of something they've heard of?
