New

Nothing new there. The Russians have been selling their kit for years.

They were really clever at one point, because they put grooves on their 7.62mm rounds. This made it impossible for NATO to use them if they captured the soveit ammunition dumps. Although, if they captured ours then they could utilise them.

I wonder if that had anything to do with influencing the change to the 5.56mm round of ammunition!!
