Hi Stacka83 - I've seen some of your old threads (well before my time). I'm guessing your original account was Stacka? How's life in the RM's? What Unit are you at and finally have you specialised?

    All the best.

I'm sure Ninja will merge your accounts as soon as. Good luck with your up and coming tour.

What made you decide on the The Rifles rather than the RM. I think you're the second AAC on the site.

dont know i really, its a non bull *text deleted**text deleted*ty type of unit....ask any squad the rifles is so laid back it hurts....untill you come to getting in the feild.

AACC was no biggy, bit of a insult in some ways being taught how to put a poncho up was a bit of a joke....but its aimed at REMF's too

It's a Tuesday, so it's either bingo night or wets with the Women's Institute. He'll be along shortly to congratulate you on your stripes.

Is that 22 years without a shower, or 22 showers over the course of your contract? ;)

    Glad you're enjoying it though.

Ah, top o' the mornin' Stacka, a very warm welcome back to the site.

Apologies for not sighting your post prior to taking my whippet, blazer & medals to the Legion last night.

Can't believe this was nearly two years ago:

I'm guessing you've got your first gong now (for Afghanistan) & Herrick 14 will be your first deployment along with 3 Commando Brigade - I sincerely hope it's a relatively quiet one.

It will be interesting to see what you reckon of the Corps upon your return. We had a few transfer enquiries from some of the Rifles guys with the last tour. Whether they swapped over I'm not sure, but hopefully you will remain happy where you are.

I'm impressed you did what you intended in joining the Rifles and completing AACC - we hear of many guys who state "matter-of-factly" that this is what they will do, but very few achieve it. Well done on the promotion, nice & slick.

I'm guessing a few guys on here would be interested to hear about being an Army Commando, so if you are about to field the odd question it would be very much appreciated.

    Again, respect & well done.

Woah, Stacka! Blast from the past.

Good to hear that you're doing well.
