looking for a challenge

i'm an 18 year old lad who wants to join the marines
fitness levels are high due to a very sportslifestyle which includes playing football in the welsh premier
ive had a presentation on the marines and have my interview tomorrow 29.10.08
i am really looking for a challenge...
any tips on howto prepare fully for the challenge ahead

Read through everything in the sticky section, that will cover a large part of the entire process and what is needed, the little things you can just ask on the forum.

just have a good scan on here, ull probably find nearly everythin you need to know

guys here are my scores!
ive not done any speific training but allways physically active!
pressups 59 in 1 minute
situps 47 in 1 minute
and i completed a mile in 4.52 seconds

haha, exactly what I thought, at that pace a 30 miler would take around 2.5minutes :laugh:

I assume he means 4 minutes 52 seconds, which is still rather quick right?

I was shocked by 4 minutes, 52 seconds,
that's bloody quick,
years ago people thought you couldn't do better than a 4 minute mile.
