Hi all,
I live in the UK and am a British citizen. However, I’m also a citizen of a country whose law states that I will lose that citizenship if I enroll in the armed forces of any other country. I was wondering at what stage my AFCO will notify the country’s embassy? I can accept losing the citizenship on passing out but I'd hate to lose it on starting RT and then not make it through.
As a side note, I have a third citizenship (very international family!) and don’t see any information about this – only about dual nationality. Will this impact my eligibility? My AFCO didn’t seem thrilled about it...
Many thanks!
