hi, after about 20-30 sit ups my lower back. i tried adjusting my posture and try to keep my back straight but this doesnt seem to solve the issue. My abs arent hurting at this point and i have pretty good core strength. Can anyone help as it is really annoying me and getting in the way of training?
cheers

Back Issues

I think we all get these from time to time.

Firstly are you keeping your legs bent as you do the situps as this reduces the pressure on the lower back?

Secondly, are you doing any jerky movements as you sit up. This can also affect the back.

If the answer is yes to the first question and no to the second one, it may be worth changing the type of sit-ups you are doing, to see if you are still experiencing the issues.

Cheers
