Just an update,

Recently I explained my issue regarding my medical and that my doctor was happy for me to progress with my application despite being TMU for blood pressure. I’ve read my notes and it explains I have mild concentric left ventricular hypertrophy, but with normal function.

Will this have an impact on me joining?

It is not a no. It would be referred to the Surgeon Commander in that area. The good news is that you have a history of normal function. Get every bit of information you can on it. Be warned that this process may take some time.

I also have second degree atrioventricular type 1 heart block.

It took me 2 medicals and a referral to be passed took around 3 months in total but I was given the green light so I expect you should have no issues at all and this was back in N0vember
