Meet the Marines - Fleetwood 24th, 25th & 26th November

There are places available on the next "Meet the Marines" display days next week, commencing 09:00 to 16:00, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.

The day is conducted by the Commando Display Team, includes unarmed combat, weapon handling, laser quest, climbing wall with a variety of interactive sessions.

It is a cracking day for those who have not attended one. It is even if you have!

I went to this last Tuesday in Gosport, and it is an awesome day! The Royal Marines there are super cool and really friendly to talk to, you get hands on with several of the weapon systems used and some of the kit they carry, as well as rock climbing and at any point in the day you can ask one of the royals any question you want and they'll happily answer, a lot of tips for PRMC aswell

If anyone has got the opportunity to get onto one of these days you won't regret it

Oh yeah, and the hand to hand combat display at the end is brilliant! Watching it on YouTube is one thing, but being there in the atmosphere is amazing

Where abouts are these located? I live in Exeter (not far from lympstone) so would be very interested in going to one if its local!
