Im currently running a mile and half in about 16-17 minutes (slow i know)

i know i have a lot of work to do to get my times down for even just my pre fitness tests before PRMC

do you gfuys recon i could reach my target with hard work? and does anyone have any programs or advice that would help?

You can do anything if you put your mind to it.

There’s loads of programmes on here you could use.

If you are overweight it might be worth using the Bikes to smash the cardio and drop the weight first and transition to running, to save your knees.

Try and incorporate other cardio and training into your routine. What sort of routine do you do at the moment?

cheers for the bike advise i didnt think of it.

i am abit overweight at the minute for my size anyway (5 ft 6)

i found a 4 week running program online designed to get you to be able to run non stop for 30 mins but thats about it at the minute and only just started.

i was going to lose abit of wait from running and then incorporate light weights to build some strength back up.

would you suggest throwing some spinning and weights in now?

Cheers for the advice
