Mock Recruitment test

    Hi just done a mock test at home for first time as got my test on 14/02/19
    It was the one on Royal Navy website . I’m *text deleted* try practising it 5x a week till test date . Do you guys recommend sticking to this test or try another one ?

    Definitely try another one. You won't get the same questions on your actual test so you need to practice as many different ones that you can.

    And take the full time allowed..!..it is not a race. 12.40 / 16.00 ????

    The book he recommends is absolutely worth it and gets progressively more difficult.

    If you are willing to put in the time you will get the results.

    I'd try to do as many different mocks as you can find. The RN site is a really good mock and the questions which come up are very similar to the actual test. Another good series of mocks are those from the book series 'How 2 Become: A Royal Marine'.

    Also, as someone who's fairly *text deleted* at mental maths, I found it useful to brush up on the basics like + - x ÷ and finding fractions and percentages of numbers helped me a lot.
