That's about £25,000 worth of bike. You need any friends by any chance? :cheesy:

I disagree. R33 all the way.

I have been working on a 1993 Eagle Talon TSi. Fast as hell, I wish I could bring it over to the UK. Dyno'd it a year ago.... 455bhp.

You have an R6 Jamie?! Whats the power delivery like, ive heard its all supposed to come over 10k? I like just pootling round crusiing sometimes, is that possible on an R6? Oh and which model have you got? The new 2009 black and gold looks nice.

the R6 is a ok bike, still doesnt have the raw edgey feel a Gixer has.

As for the 1098, i think you'll find it hard to live with. And im surprised you have got insurance on a 1098s Im nearly 25, riding nearly 8 years...IAM under my belt and the insurance for me was nearly £1200. And thats TPFT.

To be honest for 14k, your best of buying a Jap, and spedning the rest on serious modifications. and who needs Ohlins on the road, i leave that stuff for the track.

The power of the R6 comes in around 7 or 8k rpm. and it *text deleted**text deleted*ing goes like a rocket.

It's also nice to just cruise around town. Usually keep it in 3rd of 4th gear.
