My new routine

Here is my new fitness plan ive just made.

Monday
3 mile timed

100 press up routine http://hundredpushups.com/week1.html

Tuesday
Gym (no running)
Boxing

Wednesday
3mile fartlek
sgt ken press up routine
100 press up routine

Thursday
Gym (no running)
Boxing

Friday
1.5 mile fartlek
Sgt ken pressups routine
100 press up routine

Saturday
rest

Sunday
1.5 mile timed
max press ups
max situps


Any comments please?

Think you need to get more sit ups in there mate, just on a sunday isnt enough, should add the sit ups in when you do your press ups.
I also think you need to do more longer running aswell, not just 1.5 - 3 mile runs, some days you should be doing 6-8 mile runs

Cheers dan, i *text deleted* put some longer runs in after a few weeks when i'm used to running more and i'll put the situps in straight away.

hello there i like the look of your routine, are you carrying out your runs in gym or on road?

Running that much might screw you up a bit if you are just starting out. You might want to put some low intensity exercises in between days, such as cycling, rowing, swimming etc which is good.

And you want more sit ups. At least 2 or 3 times a week.

Don't forget hes doing boxing, id be suprised if hes not doing sit ups then.

yeah, i do quite alot of abs work at boxing but ive put in a few sit ups on monday wednesday and friday.The runs ive been doing are on roads
but ive tried to stick to the grassy part of the path. im *text deleted* swim alot more as six week holidays is coming up and i ll have plenty of time to go. instead of running 3 mile, how far should i be biking as i dont fell that out of breath from biking on the road.
