Has anyone got one of these/tried one?

Okay so its started to be old technology but really seems to be worth a look at.
Its really just a pedometer which links to your ipod (nano only [any generation]) and can measure distance/average speed etc. and links to their special website for extra stuff (ie overall distance ran/pace/encouragement).

I'm tempted to get one, but the only terrible thing is your have get their specific shoes or get a lace adapter for it to work(which is supposedly less accurate).

Looks like an overly complicated pedometer?!

One of those free ones that you got with Kornflakes would give you most of the information (except the "encouragement" bit from the Nike website..,) and you wouldn't have to buy yet another accessory from Apple/Nike.

As with a kellogs pedometer, it only calculates your distance travelled/speed after you have calibrated it with your stride length, which can vary with the type of running you are doing, so i don't think it's accuracy would be amazing.

*text deleted*Having said that, you can get this stuff for under £20, so that's not too bad really.
