Just keen to know if anybody knows the number (or approximate number) of places that were available for the 2018 YO intake and how many people passed POC/AIB. Also does anyone know how many spaces there will be for the 2019 YO intake.

    Thank you!

Don’t worry about numbers, they fluctuate so much year to year, a pass one year will get you into the batch but the same mark the year after may miss out.

Best to just prepare as hard as you can, you are only competing against yourself and the other applicants that year, so train and hard as you can prepare as much as you can and if you don’t get in then train harder for the next year.

Funnily enough, for the last few years, the requirement has been announced as less than previous years but when it came to the crunch, the YO batch was pretty much the same as it's been for the last decade. As stated above, I wouldn't read to much into it - they only select the top scorers.
