Numpty Question!?

Hey Lads,

Sorry if this is a bit of a numpty question!! but am i correct in saying that if you are a RM graduate you get promoted straight to captain from 2ndLt, therefore skipping Lt??

If this is the case why do they do this??

Yes that is true. This has been answered numerous times. Have a search for items regarding 'seniority' because I am sure I have explained it before.

Well obviously if you so desire you can move to Major or Lieutenant Colonel when you want.

There is no choice in it.... You go from 2Lt at the end of phase two training straight to Captain if you are a graduate or over 21 yrs of age on entry.
