just got back from the gym and was speaking to this bloke and i know a lot of ex marines and paras use the gym. this bloke said he was a marine and so i asked him what rank he got to and he said he got to sargeant. he then said he had to be a sargeant for the unit he was in. my friend questioned him saying SAS (he is going in the paras so he would have thought SAS straight away bless him) and his reply to this was "something like that" dropping a huge hint.

are there other special forces such as SAS and SBS that we dont hear about?

SRR, special recconisance regiment, or whatever its called...relitivly new one

and other myth ones, like the increment etc, apparantly responisible for princes diana, and false flag ops and all that, and as well as assasinating the guy who was develping chemical weapons dr david kelly......they are apparently ex SAS/SBS and are a black ops force for MI6 and all that lot.

but yea *text deleted*, as for the ones *text deleted* one knos about......i dont think you'll have much luck on that one.

So how does it work with the SFSG?

I know its a mixture of paras, RMs and RAF regiment, is that where candiates for the SAS/SBS get selected from?

I once pulled a bird whose dad was in the SAS. She hadn't mentioned it or anything. I only found out as she had plaques and medals of his on her living room wall.
We briefly discussed it then she put some porn on tele, gave me a BJ and then kicked me out in the snow. She said I couldn't stay over as I would try and shag her (well obviously)... all in all it was a rather odd night. Top bird though.

From what I know about SF types, they tend to keep a low profile and not mention that they were even in SF. I believe a lot of ex-SAS/SBS are actually under some form of non-disclosure agreement that forbids them to tell anyone they were a member for something like 5 years after leaving service.

As for other Special forces, well there are lots, they're just not all as hyped up as the SAS & SBS. Look in the May-June Globe and Laurel. There is an article on F company SF support group on page 222 and also page 230, an advertisement for the SRR.

you have all the 'kinda' sf like pathfinders and the ml's, who lead sf in mountains, as the sf do not have the time to keep their mountain skills up to the same level that the ml's can!!:bud:

i think the most elite special forces units in the world are the ones no one knows about. it's pretty cool picturing these hardcore guys who hardly exist carrying out assassinations for secret government agencies and *text deleted**text deleted*. kinda like the videogames splinter cell and hitman.
