P-J Fitness Test

Been a while since my last thread, :eek:h:

Since then ive passed my interview, medical etc, now got my Pj fitness test... Just a few questions really.

1. Can you start it from a rolling start or do you have to start from 0 and make your way up? (machines im using takes like 40secs to reach the right speed *text deleted*)

2. it's 1.5 miles in 10mins right? :blink:

3. how many miles per minute roughly is it? or speed in mph

4. Any techniques?


Just to get everything clear in my head, dont *text deleted* mess it up this far in.

As far as I know you start from 0 and work up from there. If you put the treadmill on 15kph or 9.4mph you'll come in just under 10mins, so try and speed it up towards the end!!

10mph = 9mins plus any speed up time

No real technique for this except one foot in front of other and repeat until knackered! Oh and try not to go flying of the back, a guy did this in my gym last week:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

alright, i can do 8.5/9mph at the moment, i guess i need to pick up the pace a little
