It's in tomorrows sun, Lieutenant Colonel Stewart resigns from Army because of the way forces have been treated.
His resignation letter is in tomorrows "Sun" newspaper and details how his men get treated harshly and risking their lives for £10,000 a year less than a Police Constable.
This guy was on the front line with his men last year in Afghanistan and did some heavy fighting and recognised with several citations for his conduct, his resignation will carry a lot of weight and fears are that more are to follow. Seems that Senior officers are on the brink of snapping with this government.
Suppose it's not news to people that government treats soldiers like sh#@ and many of us will still sign up even if they gave us pee-shooters, but a thanks should be given by all British forces to this Colonel who has put his men before his career.
