Paul Bremer

Forum users of a certain age might recall Paul Bremer "...best known for his role immediately after the U.S. invasion of Iraq in 2003, where he was given broad power as a civilian authority by George W. Bush, and proceeded to make a series of decisions that are widely acknowledged to have hastened the country’s descent into chaos and near civil war."
He is now a ski instructor in Vermont, USA. His references for the job were provided by Henry Kissenger and Donald Rumsfeld.

I suspected that this might be an April Fool hoax but the story actually broke the week before.
