    Alright fellas, my PJFT is booked for the 28th Jan.

    Just a quick question, in the time leading up to it I’ll be training x2 a day (standard anyway) but how many days off to rest do you recommend before the test? I’m thinking I should take 2 days off prior and eat as much as I can in those 2 days haha.

    All suggestions welcome, just want to make sure I’m ready for it in every way.

    As the PJFT is a treadmill test ensure that you are familiar with treadmills. I know this sounds obvious but it is not unknown for candidates to train on the road or track and be caught out by the difference in technique. Best of luck.

    As @Chelonian says, you should be familiar with the treadmill.

    With regard to rest, just tick over the week before. You're not running a marathon, but never the less, don't do anything strenuous the week prior.
