How many press ups, sit ups and pull ups do you need to do in order to pass the PJFT?
The PJFT is only the treadmill run, no press/sit/pull ups.
Unless you're taking it in Belfast, where I understand they do it slightly differently.
Yeah, they 100% need you to do press ups, sit ups and pull ups in the Irish PJFT, I have read before somewhere that it isn't the maximums needed down at PRMC/POC but it would be useful if @Ninja_Stoker or a Irish lad who has gone through this could comment.
It would be extremely interesting to know if this is a definite, since id be doing mine in belfast! Any particular reason for this if its definitely the way its done?
I believe it's because it costs more to get you down to CTC than it would if you were on the mainland... Just a precautionary measure to make sure you can perform at your PRMC before they spend the extra bit to get you there.
I went to an expedition with an Irish lad. As I said it isn't a maybe, the lads doing their PJFT in Ireland 100% do press ups, sit ups and pull ups. Reason is because of the money paid for their flights.
This is really good to know guys thanks a million. It certainly helps!
When I first read the original post I laughed a little and thought what the heck is this guy talking about. Now its me who should be laughed at
