Going good! Following Arny's program for a while now and things are coming on nicely. Yourself?

Yeah not long at all, can't wait.

I've just been doing BFT/RMFA mocks, Fintan Circuit followed by 4 miler at 8min/miles, hill sprints and a long run on Sunday. Keeping it simple, haven't been to a gym since Christmas.

@griphouse7311 yeah sounds fairly similar actually! Same as myself, haven't needed to with all the press ups, sit ups and pull ups. @ILoveGravy We should maybe get a Whatsapp group going if theres a few more of us, could be pretty useful in the run up.

@JF1310 WhatsApp sounds good to me if there's enough interest. I did a prmc back in 2012 so I may be able to answer any questions you chaps have in regards to the fitness side of things .

Sure, let’s get a WhatsApp group going for the upcoming POC.

Yeah I'm going on those dates too. What are you guys doing for boots? I know we're told we'll be given if we don't arrive with any or the ones we arrive with are deemed unsuitable, but I'm not so sure if I can justify buying a brand new pair of boots if we're to get issued boots anyway. I guess asking at the AFCO will be the best idea but was just curious as to what everyone else was planning on doing. Looking forward to meeting everyone down there next month.

I believe the MOD Standard Issue boots are Altberg Combats or Haix boots. I picked up a Grade A used pair on an Army Surplus site for about £40 which isn't too bad. I wouldn't suggest buying a brand new pair either, not only for the price and how long you'll be using them for, but it would take a fair few weeks to properly break them in alone. Hope this helped!

Very helpful indeed. Thank you. I'll look at a surplus site straight away. Much appreciated!

Alright lads, just wondering if you've been told what to wear when you arrive Sunday?

Candidates for PRMC arrive wearing suits or smartest rig. I'll go out on a limb and suggest that lounge suits, shirt and tie are a basic requirement for arrival and attendance at POC.

Best wishes to all attending this POC.

Phew! Scorchio in East Devon today.
Having run this afternoon—with a springer spaniel—along the River Exe from Starcross to the Double Locks pub I raised my glass to those on the opposite bank no doubt engaged in somewhat less leisurely activity.
Let us know how you got on.
