    Just wondering if he is entitled to wear his commando flash on his pcs/mtp during training?

    @aliB

    How did the training team respond to his previous service?

    Badges, eh? :)
    Recruit Training is different from being at a unit. He should certainly be permitted to wear a 'dagger' flash. Arguably, if he's entitled to wear it he might be ordered to do so.

    As an aside, back in the day many Paras wore one set of any foreign wings they'd qualified for above the left breast pocket of their smocks.

    All going good, due to pass out next Friday with @aliB. Been a very testing few months but definitely worth it.

    Now there’s an achievement!! Both a Bootneck and a Para!! You are now installed as the official “Final word” whenever someone claims to “be the best” fantastic achievement to have gone through RT for both of these fantastic units!!

    Sorry if this has already been asked, but what made you want to do both?

    Thanks @arny01 , it’s easy to forget the different struggles through training but definitely worth it when you finally reach the end.

    Nothing necessarily made me want to do both but due to the circumstances, I had to make the choice and went for the PARAs, something in which I know was the right choice and happy I went that way.

    Best wishes for the future.
    I saw a recent picture of an Army Air Corps chopper wings presentation. Several Army cap badges—including an NCO Para—wearing a pale blue beret :eek:. If the billet requires it; that's it, I guess.
