Prescription glasses on operations/training

I've got my medical and eyesight test coming up and although I'm short sighted I'm not too worried as supposedly you have to be blind as a bat to fail.

Question: even in RT and on operations if you require glasses for short sight will you be issued any sort of prescription tactical goggles?

I've seen soldiers wear those yellow/orange tinted goggles with lenses in them in some documentaries
