Press Ups 2 sets of 30 or max then max?

    *text deleted** curious when testing yourself to see how many press ups you can do in 2 minutes, do you do 30 have a quick rest, then do 30 again? or do you do your max, rest then max again e.g 45 rest then 15. Or are you able to just do 60 without rest.

    Try time not numbers and focus on form till you can do the 2 mins. Start at say 45 secs then add 5 or 10 seconds a week till you can do the 2 mins perfect ! personally pushing everything too the max helps progress best for me.

    I go to my max, pause briefly in the press up position and continue to push out batches of 5 or so until 2 mins are up, or I physically can do no more.
