right when you have to remain in the pressup position,

can you like rest [this is going to sound weird] put your arse in the air, like what i mean is if you were in the pressup position, move you arms to a 45degree angle so your arse is in the air is this allowed as a ''rest'' position or does it have to be soley pressups position?

this is asking a kick from the cpls i can see it coming!!

they tell you to put yor arse down if you do that. *text deleted* it isn't really press up position is it. takes weight off your arms doing that.

It's 2 minutes of your life, shouldn't really need to rest at any point during that time mate

How about trying to hold the press up position (strict) for 3-4 mins, shake out your arms then do your 2 mins of work and then hold the position for time again

This aswell as 'planks' will build up core strength (not the same as how many sit ups you can do) and allow your body to concentrate more strength on the press ups
