Hiya lads! Just got my PRMC date today, looking forward to it! Anyone else on this PRMC?

Yeah going very well. Just need to work on my push ups a bit more but plenty of time. How about you?
Yeah it’s going really well at the moment mate. Need to work on my overall endurance and also build my sit ups and push ups up more, though as you said, plenty of time yet!
Definitely enough time to make sure you are fit enough to smash the phys. Where are you travelling to Lympstone from?
Travelling from Kilmarnock mate, not far from Glasgow. How about yourself?
Travelling from Manchester. I've got a two and a half hour wait in Birmingham on the way which should be fun.
I’ve got a 7 hour journey to CTC so I imagine that won’t be much fun either!

yes mate, I'm just not very strong with my running but i guess it will come with time!
must admit thought I'm really nervous!

We’ll all be nervous mate so don’t even worry about that! There’s still plenty of time to smash out the running as well! And yeah my phys is going really well ta, do need to work on increasing my reps with the sit ups and push ups. Pull ups I’m feeling really confident with. Though my sit ups are sitting around 50 and push ups are around 40/45 so upping the reps with them is my target at the moment.

I'm the same with my push ups, ive struggled with them the most, i did an RMAD just before Christmas and did shocking i only got like 21 but ive improved abit now and I'm getting around 40 now...
As of sit ups I'm pretty happy with then getting around the 75/80 mark and I'm getting about 12 pull ups!
I'm hoping abit of adrenaline will kick in on the day to help me do a little better haha.
Yep mate I’m the same haha, hoping that adrenaline will give me a good boost on the day. I would’ve liked to have done an RMAD, regret not requesting for one. Struggling with the push ups as well to be honest! Can’t seem to get past 45, been doing different variations of push ups to see if it would help though still not getting past 45. Then again, consistency is the key so I’ll keep going!
yeh the RMAD i found was really beneficial as it gave a really good insight as to what the 3 days down there are going to be like down there but then again i guess nothing can compare to real deal!
The way ive built up my press ups is by doing pyramid training, like start at 15 press ups then 20 second rest then 14 and so on right down to zero.
I found that training that way has really helped my recovery time aswell.
Yeah that’s why I was hoping to do one, just to see where I was at with the phys and then of course get some insight, every little helps. And ah right, cheers mate, i’ll give that a go as it sounds good!
have you been on any of the visits to any of the commando units at all?
No, unfortunately not mate, I stay in Scotland and many of their units are based in England, therefore it’s quite a bit of travel for me.
