    Hey all,
    Just got my PRMC dates today, 5th September. Doubt many people will be on that course already, but let me know if you are.

    Aiming to be booked on this one, it's my second attempt. Pull out end of bottom field 2 weeks ago.

    What reason did you pull out on the bottom field?

    Not enough gas in the tank, it's a proper grind. You can't do enough prep so seriously do 2-3 hard phys sessions a week to the point of near exhaustion and then 2 long runs at least 8 milers as well.
    It's not just about passing the tests.

    So I'm currently doing
    Monday - rest
    Tuesday - 'extra phys'
    Wednesday - long run (or swim with hypoxic training) + high rep weights
    Thursday - 'extra phys'
    Friday - rest
    Saturday - long run + high rep weights
    Sunday - 'extra phys'

    'extra phys' looks like these and or variations to keep it fresh.
    1.5 mile run
    Tobata(20s on 10s off 4mins)
    Box jumps
    Decline press ups
    1.5 mile run
    Tobata kettle bell swings
    Tobata sit up
    1.5 mile run
    Tobata mountain climbers
    Tobata spider man press ups
    1.5 mile run
    Tobata Russian twists
    Tobata burpee/squats
    1.5 mile run

    OR

    3 mile run
    4mins of each - skipping, box jump, commandos on stability plate, kettle swings, (all these with 10kg vest on)
    500m sprint
    4mins of each - pull up, tri dips (these were assisted max half body weight), lunges (10kg vest)
    500m sprint
    4mins of each - squats, lat raise, Russian twists, front raise
    500m sprint
    To fail - press up, sit up, pull up
    Run till your cooked.

    These should get you close to the feeling of a half a day at prmc *text deleted*.

    That seems pairly standard, might try that although I've not done any weight training, was advised not to.

    I follow a guy on FB called Royal Marines training who programs a lot a circuits and runs tailored towards passing PRMC, most of my training has been that kind of thing.

    Sorry to get in on the convo, @checkylep i have a programme royal marine trainer aswell, it's helped me a lot I'm on week 3 at the moment, passed pjft 3 weeks ago, I have to go an RMAD day on the 9th august then they will give me prmc date after that

    Am I right in saying our respective AFCOs should issue us with train tickets closer to the date?

    I was emailed my tickets on the day I was given my PRMC date, so you might want to get on to your AFCO
