prmc brief

got my prmc brief today at my afco. just wondered if anyone can shed some light on what to expect. Im guessing they will tell me what the two days entail and give me travel details.

is it a pretty informal thing, surely i dont have to wear a suit do i.

i didnt even have one! but its probably just to have a chat with you see how your doing, and to discuss your travel details etc. nah wont have to go in a suit or anything.

He'll show you a video of the PRMC course, tell you what to expect & give you your travel warrant.

Yep, the clue's in the title and informal is the standard of dress.

Generally the brief should take about 40 mins & is designed to answer any queries you may have.

For some individuals it may seem like teaching you to suck eggs, but for others they may never have changed a rail warrant, travelled any distance by train, been away from home or may not have had the benefit of attending an RMAD. You would be surprised the amount of people that do not read the contents of the PRMC letter fully and who would otherwise arrive ill-prepared.
