Just thought Id start a little thread to see how everyone whos got their prmc's coming up in the near future is coming along just to give us all a bit of a boost and a comparison.. just post your date and some of your scores and feel free to give any feedback, Ill start:

4th December

3 miler- 20.30

Prmc style 3 miler first 1.5 miles in 12.30, 1.5 back in 9.28

Press Ups- 60

Sit ups- 65 (need to improve)

Pull ups- 9

Looking good Mate. I still have a year or so to train before my PRMC but here are my scores.

3 Miler - 24.37 mins ( best time )

Push ups - 35

Sit ups - 40

Pull ups - 8

PRMC 8th January.

3 miler - 17.58.

Push ups - 40

Situps - 50

Pull ups - 6

I just cant seem to improve on push ups. Any help? I got about 6 weeks...

That 100 pressup thing doesn't make much sense to me. I think I might just be reading it wrong.

But here is what I have been doing to improve my pressups.

Week 1; 3 - 5 Sets of 20
Week 2; 3 - 5 Sets of 25
Week 3; 3 - 5 Sets of 30
Week 4; 3 - 5 Sets of 35
Week 5; 3 - 5 Sets of 40
Week 6; 3 - 5 Sets of 45
Week 7; 3 - 5 Sets of 50
Week 8; 3 - 5 Sets of 55
Week 9; 3 - 5 Sets of 60

Baring in mind, I wrote this for me and I could already bench press over 200lbs. So my chest is already quite formed. You can lower the reps if you want, just gradually increase by 5 a week. PLUS, it is recommended to do this on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Doing it everyday can cause muscle tears. DO NOT OVERDO IT ON THE FIRST DAY! :)

Jay22 Just keep practicing mate youll build up on that score in no time, your run times pretty good though so you should be fine in time for Jan!

I'm on the 4th, i've now got the flu since sunday. Went for a 3 mile run on Sunday night ,and still managed to bang out 1.5 in 9:15 and 1.5 back in about 10:30.

60 press ups in over a minute

and 94 situps in 2.

and to add to that, i feel like *text deleted*

jesus JK your scores with the flu are still better than mine on a good day :shock: *text deleted* is 9.30 for the 1.5 mile best effort back slow or about avg. on a prmc? i guess ill push harder on the day anyway though.

1.5 there is run at a medium pace, not to fast not to slow. the 1.5 mile back is a killer, i'm trying to sprint my 1.5 back, but its quite hard at the moment as my route contains hills.

Got my PRMC in two weeks, havent really tested myself so not certain of top scores. I am worried about sit ups though as im lagging behind on them badly, and think they may be an issue in two weeks.

ive been practicing banging them out after hard work outs and runs and get about 65 would that be enough to pass that part?

if you can do 65 now in 2 minutes, i reckon you would bang out atleast 75-80 at the PRMC. You will get a adrenaline rush whilst doing it

well my prmc is on the 17th im currently doing the three miler in 19 mins, 45 press ups, sit up 70 in 2 mins, and 5-6 pull ups give or take..im pretty nervous my press ups suck hopefully they will improve i got 5 weeks or somthing what u think *text deleted* :*text deleted*: :*text deleted*:
