Prepare yourself for a challenge. This is a circuit that I attempted to complete while at a RM fitness evening.

- 10x Press-ups, RUN
- 10x Press-ups, 1-x Sit-ups, RUN
- 10x Press-ups, 10x Sit-ups, 10x Tuck jumps, RUN
- + 10x Plyometric press-ups
- + 10x V-sits, END

ALL THROUGH AGAIN FROM START. THIS TIME EVERYTHING x20.

- + 20x Squats, RUN
- + 20x Close arm press-ups RUN
- + 20x Flutter Kicks, END

ALL THROUGH AGAIN FROM START. THIS TIME EVERYTHING x5.

- + 5x Mountain climbers RUN
- + 5x Wide arm press-ups, RUN
- + 5x Dropdowns, standups, RUN
- + 20x CHEERS ROYALS, END.

However, on the second round I did x25 for each instead of 20 & we didn't go through the third time. Really challenges you physically and mentally. Give it ago and feed back to me.

Looks like a good CV-Circuit to try, might give it a go next week.

Just for clarification on the Mountain Climbers, how did you count them? 2 legs = 1 rep, or every leg = 1 rep?

Had a feeling someone would point that out. Every leg is one rep, same goes for the flutter kicks. Definitely give it ago. At first views, I didn't expect it to be as hard as it was. I was literally scrapping everything out of me near the end. Sweat dipping off my face, passing out on the floor because my muscle were so achy. I'm definitely going to attempt again though.

Yeah it'll be a good one to try on Easter Sunday - earn the fat scoff! :dinner:

Thanks for clarification as well.

New RM training tool on facebook recommends the width of a footie pitch between exercises so expect the run to be 30-50m, depending on how much of a tank you are!

Bit off topic, have you got any advice on improving press ups? As you can do eighty, I thought you might be able to help!

I don't really have a specific answer as everyone is different. Though since I started crossfit-type training my stats have improved massively. I try to include press-ups into my workout at least three times a week.

I remember testing myself on press-ups and struggle to push out 60 in two minutes. Then after I started crossfit-type training and tested myself again I managed to do 80, started struggling around 60!

This was held on the Thursday just gone at RNAS Culdrose.
Aha thought so! The Cpl that runs them is a very good friend of mine and I've been at a few in the past helping out!
