Sup,

I know the RM works with the assault ships HMS ALBION, BULWARK and the mighty OCEAN, but is there also involvement with the Royal Fleet Auxiliary's Bay Class landing vessals? Or is their purpose purely for general transport of troops and such-like to secure ports not amphip operations?

Good quesion!

The three Bay Class of ships are indeed designed to be used in the amphibious role and are similar in their versatility to Bulwark & Albion.

I had a good luck around Lyme Bay about two months ago & it was very impressive. The Royal Marines could indeed expect to be embarked force on one of these ships. They are often overlooked & any potential RM Officer would be well advised to be aware of these ships when attending AIB.
