Hello all. im currently filling in my application form for the RM. Im slightly worried as i have a veroka on one of my toes. Ive had it for about 2 years and im regulary getting it frozen but its getting tricky tring to get rid of it. Does any 1 know if that will stop me getting into the marines. And also, as im about to send my application away. my family are planning on going on holiday mid april, will this affect the process if i go ??

Hi welcome to the site.

You'll need to get rid of any verrucas before you can attend prmc, for obvious reasons. Have a chat with your GP before your medical so as you get the latest advice on getting rid.

All you need do is let your AFCO know your "unavailability dates" whilst you are away & the selection process is put on hold until you return- it doesn't go against you, it simply means there's a pause whilst you're away.

Good luck.
