Right heres my idea!
I start RT (for normal RM) soon and when (not if) i pass out i want to stay for the full career and im well up for everything that the RM has to fro at me!
BUT im not naive enough to forget that come a few tours time I might want out and more time to start a family and all that *text deleted**text deleted* *text deleted*, but at the same time i think i will be hooked on the lifestyle and wont want to quit.

So after say 5 years or so service is it possible to transfer to the Royal Marine Reserves ????? any advice would be great thanks

what about the other way round?

Many threads on the very subject, a quick search should throw a few up. Basically from what I have gathered you can get a full time reservist contract for 'x' amount of years after completing RMRRT and maybe serving 'y' amount of time in the corps.

Have a look though as it has been asked and answered many times.
