My understanding, until advised otherwise, is RMR Prmcs are now the same as regular Prmcs and there are about 40 a year.

As in you will do the same prmc whether a regular or reservist? Or will reservists have their own prmc 40 times a year?

Same PRMC, apparently there's enough spare capacity to do RMR on the existing courses.

Sounds good! Do the RMR units still only have the one intake per year? I think il miss the May intake so it’s a bit gutting to wait to next year

Pretty much mate. But if you have passed your medical you can join them for phys in preparation on a drill night. Best thing is to ring up your local unit and ask.

Gutting that is but suppose gives me a while to get fit and hopefully train with them to get some specific training done

What if RMR guys can’t get the week off to do one? I thought that’s why the PRMC(R)s used to be a weekend affair.

Now that’s common sense. You stop that right now.
Don’t you know the RMR expect full obedience even at the detriment of your fulltime employment, that pays the bills and puts a roof over your head.

No doubt some officer got a payrise for the idea though.
