Does anyone know of the best way to become a mountain leader? I know you have to work up to a corporal before you are even considered for the course but does anyone has knowledge of the fastest/ most efficient route and how long it could take?

    Thanks in advance

Not currently no, I'm in the application process but the idea of a mountain leader caught my attention and got me wondering.

You stick it on JPA and wait till you get an AO - probably takes about 12-18 months to get on an ML3 acquaint.

    Step 1:
    Pass the Medical screening.

    Step 2:
    Pass the PJFT.

    Step 3:
    Pass recruit training.

Come back her after Oggin Tor and tell us if you still want to be an ML.

Worry about passing Recruit Training First and you can progress to it.
