Other than planned long weekends, leave etc. is RT entirely devoted to training.

Are weekends for example, generally 'free time'?

Are sporting activities reserved for when training is complete, or are these available during RT?

Well for the first 14 weeks i can tell you you get very little free time, sometimes theres a working weekend aswell, basically youre doing 18 hour days no joke always something to do, and youl be to tired to do any othe sporting activeaties.
