Hi guys, so ive been training hard for the last 8/9 months now and my gym tests are near perfect, however lockdown (in south africa) has affected my running.... i can complete ling steady state runs for 40-60 mins, but i get absolutely gassed with sprints or faster paced intervals. I struggle to breathe and end up getting so frustrated cause ive put so much effort into getting ready...

ive looked into improving maximal oxygen intake(vo2) and they suggest intervals, so im going to start them again. But otherwise im stumped as to what to do.

any tips to maybe help me get over this little speed bump?

What are your paces like for steady runs, and your intervals.

Many miles per week do you run?

It may be that you are running your intervals and reps too quickly, beyond your current ability.
