I’m 16 going on 17 and would like to join the marines when I’m fit enough.Could anyone give me any advice on working on 1.5 mile times and any sort of 3-5 mile times please? Cheers

My current PB for 1.5 miles is 10:50 mins
And my current PB for 3 miles is 24:25 mins

Your 1.5 mile times comes from short / sharp interval training. Say 1 800m warm up, then 8 x 400m sprints, followed with an 800m cool down.

Hill sprints also.

Your 3-5 times should just be at a tempo pace, target 7 min/mile consistently every mile.
