Regular Amphib week is now at HMS Raleigh. In the RMR we were lucky enough to go to Poole for amphib because we were doing the beach assault display at Bournemouth air show. But Poole HQ was off limits even to our training team (except those who were getting taught to fast rope for the display)! All our training took place at the Hard.

Just done a variation of this circuit with a mate in the park, not to be underestimated!

    5 mile run @ 8 min/mile pace.
    'SBS' strength circuit.
    100m fireman's carry each.
    Strength Circuit.
    Fireman's.
    Strength circuit.
    Fireman's.
    Tom Shenton.
    100m sprint out & 100m jog back.
    Shenton.
    Sprint/jog.
    Shenton.
    Sprint/jog.
Cool down (2 mins jog & 3 mins stretch).

The lactic build up is insane! Couldn't do the full 75 kicks each set so we did sets of 40 per leg. Really good circuit. Well worth thinking about mixing this into Arny's PRMC program lads, I'm not familiar with the current PRMC set up but tonight's session was very similar to bottom field/battle PT type nod training and took a little bit of gumption to see through to the end.

    Attempted this yesterday

    Hit 19:29 on the run

    29 pull ups
    72 sit ups
65 press ups (fists distance on way down)
    43 dorsal raises
    25 burpees
46 military press (30kg including bar)
    Incline sit ups 51
    Box jumps 14 ( 2 boxes )
    Lateral Jumps 43

Is it right in my saying I scored 717??

If so I'm happy with that

Good score by the sound of it. Did you do all 29 pull ups without dropping off the bar? or did you just do as much as possible until you could no longer lift yourself?

Was going to say that would be a superhuman effort in one go. Did you do it in two minutes?

Think you are getting mixed up with this, 'Toms Two Minutes'?

The Tom Shenton Circuit, aim for 4 circuits in two minutes.

    Enjoy. :)
