    Passed Interview
So long story short. I'm applying for Sixth Form Scholarship and Reserved Place into RM as an officer. Passed my interview back in January and I've just been contacted to say that my AIB will be in November, and that the policy has changed for ScholarshipApplicants so that they now attend an AIB prior to attending a POC.

Just thought this would be useful for anyone else out there going for the same thing.

    Awaiting selection after AIB pass
Hi, do you know if this applies for university bursaries as well?

    Thanks

Nope. To be honest until I saw this thread I was completely unaware Scholar applicants are allegedly doing AIB before POC. I've seen no administration instructions detailing this and neither can I ring anyone to check as they are on leave at the moment.

Just to update on Sixth form Scholarships - AIB advise that POCs are no longer undertaken initially by Scholar applicants.

YO scholars will undertake Recruit Test (RT), Initial Officer Career Interview (post RT), eye test, Medical, PJFT, Sift then AIB.

If they score high enough to gain a scholarship they are offered a provisional start date two years later, pending successful completion of POC within the 12 months prior to entry.

Reason? Few 16 year olds pass POC. The AIB pass remains valid.

Yep. If you are good enough, you could get yourself a reserved place too.
