Erm, no sure what you mean by combat shirt.

If you mean the shirt worn with half Lovats, you normally have no commando badges on it, just Rank badges sewn on the sleeve, bronzed "RM" shoulder logos & if you've earned them, para wings.

If you mean CS95 tunic or tropical shirt, then the Commando shoulder flashes, the miniature Jack, & the 3 Cdo Brigade (green rectangular patch with black dagger) logo or FPGRM logo (Navy Crown & dagger logo) & rank slide to the front & para wings if applicable.

Top of the Sleeve right up by the hemline at the shoulder (kinda follows the curve of your shoulder) - one on each side. The square Commando Dagger 'patch' goes under it, about an inch further down, on the Right arm only (newer combat shirts already have the union flag in that place on the left arm.
