    Long time no see!
Not sure if this is in the right thread but either way here I go..

I've just got back into road running after taking time off due to personal issues (Nothing serious, just things that took away from fitness). Either way I decided to start Strava on my phone and I also used my samsung fitness on my samsung galaxy watch (the newest one) at the same time. To get myself back into it I decided to run half the 4.8km run but when I got to 2.4km on my watch, strava said I had only done 1.7km so I am just wondering which one I should trust? Because it is quite a big difference in distance. The phone I use is a Huawei p20 pro so the gps quality (I would think) shouldn't be a problem.

    Thanks for any advice

Check the map of the route within strava. Sometimes it just has a funny do. (Usually if your phone decides to start updating stuff in the background) Mine did it before and said that I hadn’t run in some places I had and at other points it had me running through a reservoir

Map My Run is just as good in my opinion.
