A superior pass usually means maximum points have been achieved in each criteria test.

Is this the case for Officer candidates also? I can't even tell if Officers are awarded superior passes. Also, are you given anything for a superior pass? A friend told me you receive a badge to add to your uniform, but elsewhere I've heard that you're given a certificate. Thanks.

Officers dont do PRMC.

The prize for a pass is a place in a Royal Marines recruit troop.

I don't know if you get superior passes on POC, but it would make sense that the better your score, the better chance you have at Final Selection Board.

A superior pass on PRMC gets you priority in relation to RT dates, you could be put on as early as a couple of weeks after your PRMC!

To be honest though, you should be aiming for a superior pass, it's better to over-prepare than under-prepare!
