Tactical knee pads

Anyone got any recommendations for tactical kneepads? I'm already anticipating being immobilised by arthritis in my knees by the time I hit 40, but it would be nice to add a few more years life to my knees.

What stage of training are you in?

Phase 1B in the RMR, so c. week 18/19 in regs. We're allowed to start wearing them now apparently.

Ah ok, didn't realise you were RMR as in regulars we got issued knee pads at the start of Phase 2.

Just have a look on Amazon and see what reviews look good, that's how I normally judge stuff.

They are part of the Virtus system. Personally I don't particularly like them but they do the job. Do you get Virtus in the RMR?

Are marines allowed.their own kit? On battlecamps im sure ive only seem them with issued smocks etc

We don't get issued any, but have been told we're allowed to buy them.
