Taking Breaks

Ive took a weeks break from running, will this affect my performace alot, ive been doing my press ups etc, just not been running, thanks

A week, doubt it mate. If so like very very slightly hardly enough to recognise. My AFCO told me not to do phys a week before PRMC so i doubt a week does anything to you :)

No worrys mate, *text deleted*'e had a weeks break before. Doesn't really touch you, you feel like youv'e got more energy than ever :]

ive just taken pretty much a full week off (not on purpose i hasten to add!) and on my first attempt at pullups after that week, i managed 6, when before i could do 3...and got like 35 pressups when previously i was on 30...

crazy stuff! but i doubt ill be taking another week off, makes me depressed when im not training *text deleted*

It's generally a good idea to take a deload week once every few weeks (4-6). For example, reducing the miles run / intensity / number of sessions etc.
