Hey,
from my own experience alot of new recruits (including myself) suffered from tendonitis because they werent used to climbing ropes and using those muscles so physically!
My advice wud b so simple...ask *text deleted* gym if they have ropes or if they have any contact details for other leisure facilities that do!
Ropes is a massive part of the first 16weeks during PT sessions..u will not pass the Gym Passout if u fail to do 3 successfull climbs in week 9!
Howeva this is jus a suggestion...i neva did but the pain can b excruciating at times *text deleted* of the unfamiliarities of training
